Responsibilities

As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing young learners and supporting their developmental journey. Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning, implementing, and evaluating high-quality educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
  • Observing, documenting, and assessing children’s learning and development.
  • Ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Creating a stimulating, inclusive, and well-organised learning environment.
  • Building strong and respectful partnerships with families and caregivers.
  • Mentoring and supporting fellow educators to foster a positive team culture.
  • Collaborating with campus leadership to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promoting children’s wellbeing, safety, and holistic development through play-based learning.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • A Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) or an ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of the NQF, EYLF, and quality improvement processes.
  • A valid Working with Children Check (Employee).
  • Demonstrated commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A genuine passion for delivering high-quality early childhood education.
  • A professional and reflective approach to teaching practice.
