Responsibilities
As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing young learners and supporting their developmental journey. Key responsibilities include:
- Planning, implementing, and evaluating high-quality educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Observing, documenting, and assessing children’s learning and development.
- Ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Creating a stimulating, inclusive, and well-organised learning environment.
- Building strong and respectful partnerships with families and caregivers.
- Mentoring and supporting fellow educators to foster a positive team culture.
- Collaborating with campus leadership to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promoting children’s wellbeing, safety, and holistic development through play-based learning.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- A Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) or an ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification.
- Strong knowledge of the NQF, EYLF, and quality improvement processes.
- A valid Working with Children Check (Employee).
- Demonstrated commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
