Responsibilities

As a Receptionist, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting and welcoming residents, visitors, and families in a friendly manner
  • Managing incoming calls and directing them appropriately
  • Handling general inquiries and messages efficiently
  • Scheduling appointments for residents with medical professionals and service providers
  • Managing visitor registration and ensuring security protocols are followed
  • Providing support and assistance to residents and families
  • Performing administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and record maintenance
  • Assisting with rostering, mail handling, and general office coordination

Requirements

  • Previous experience in administrative or receptionist roles (preferred)
  • Ability to work full-time Monday to Friday (9am–5pm)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Eligibility to work in New Zealand/Australia (as required)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)

Skills and Desired Knowledge

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Friendly, approachable, and professional attitude
  • Experience with rostering or scheduling systems (e.g., Humanforce or Time Target)
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage administrative tasks
