About the Position
As a Caregiver for people with disabilities, your daily work will include supporting people with their basic daily activities.
These activities include:
- Personal hygiene.
- Food and eating.
- Mobility.
- Dressing.
You will always follow each person’s individual support plan.
You will also work with the team on educational, occupational, and leisure activities. These activities support the personal and social development of each person.
You will coordinate with the rest of the professional team.
The role also includes:
- Supervising and accompanying people during travel.
- Maintaining basic order in the spaces used by the people receiving care.
- Maintaining basic cleanliness in these spaces.
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Benavente.
Requirements
- Training related to social and healthcare support, care for dependent people, TCAE, social integration, or a similar field.
- Previous experience or practical training in caring for and supporting people with disabilities, or in residential resources, day centres, or similar settings.
- Empathetic communication skills, active listening, and respectful treatment.
