Responsibilities
- Compile and organize financial documents such as invoices, billings, checks, vouchers, and bank statements
- Verify and record business transactions, including funds received and disbursed, using accounting systems or spreadsheets
- Compute and record additional charges, including costs related to lost or damaged goods
- Assist in preparing entries for general ledger accounts and other financial transactions
- Support the preparation of financial statements and consolidation reports
- Prepare regulatory and financial reports as required
- Monitor accounts payable schedules and ensure timely payments
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and documentation issues
- Maintain good working relationships with internal departments and external stakeholders
- Provide general accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field
