Responsibilities
As a Welder, your key duties will include:
- Interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications
- Preparing and selecting appropriate materials for fabrication
- Cutting, shaping, and forming metal components using tools and machinery
- Assembling and aligning metal parts prior to welding
- Performing welding, bolting, and riveting tasks using industry-standard techniques
- Inspecting welds for accuracy, strength, and quality compliance
- Grinding, cleaning, and finishing welded components

Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
- Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication Trade – Boilermaking/Welding) or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in welding, fabrication, or boilermaking
- Valid forklift licence and rigging/dogging tickets
- Certification and ability to work at heights
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety (WHS) practices
- Legal working rights in Australia
