Responsibilities
As a Driver, you will ensure the safe, efficient, and punctual transportation of clients and support operational logistics. Key responsibilities include:
- Transporting clients safely and punctually to designated locations according to scheduled arrangements.
- Ensuring the vehicle is equipped with essential safety equipment such as wheelchair restraints, fire extinguishers, seat belts, and first aid kits.
- Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of the vehicle and equipment, including hydraulic lifters.
- Securing wheelchairs and ensuring passengers are properly fastened throughout the journey.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of both the interior and exterior of the vehicle.
- Performing daily preventive checks to ensure operational readiness.
- Assisting with organizational errands such as banking, mailing, and document delivery.
- Adhering to contingency plans, transport standard operating procedures, and safety protocols during emergencies.
- Supporting transportation services across the organization as required.
- Carrying out additional duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer.
Requirements
Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant driving experience.
- Possession of a valid Class 3 driving license with a good driving record.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in simple English.
- Strong commitment to safety and service excellence.
- Good interpersonal and public relations skills.
- Ability to start work within short notice.
- Physical capability to assist passengers, including those with mobility needs.
