Responsibilities
As a Delivery Driver, your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering and filling LPG gas cylinders to homes and businesses
- Operating delivery vehicles safely on assigned routes
- Interacting with customers and responding to inquiries professionally
- Handling and transporting dangerous goods in compliance with regulations
- Ensuring accurate delivery using handheld delivery devices
- Maintaining delivery schedules and completing routes efficiently
- Following strict health and safety procedures at all times
- Inspecting and maintaining vehicle condition as required
- Assisting with loading and unloading of cylinders
Requirements
Candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Valid Class 2 driving license with at least 2 years of experience
- Clean criminal record and successful background checks (medical, drug & alcohol screening)
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items
- Willingness to obtain a Dangerous Goods license (if not already held)
- Good knowledge of the local region
- Ability to work Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays
