Responsibilities
As an A-Level Chemistry Teacher, your main duties will include:
- Delivering engaging A-Level Chemistry lessons aligned with the British curriculum
- Supporting students with mock examinations and academic preparation
- Assisting students with UCAS applications, including personal statements and references
- Contributing to administrative tasks and academic support activities
- Helping students improve English proficiency, including occasional IELTS speaking practice
- Supporting school marketing and outreach activities, such as appearing in content for YouTube or blogs
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred)
- Strong academic background in science at secondary and university level
- Passion for education and student development
- Internationally minded and open to new cultures
- Self-motivated, organized, and resilient
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Teaching qualifications or prior experience are welcome but not mandatory
- Familiarity with the British curriculum is an advantage
