Responsibilities
- Perform MIG/MAG welding according to project specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Prepare materials for fit-up, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Utilize and manage welding gases, electrodes, and cylinders correctly.
- Work with mild steel and stainless steel materials.
- Maintain a strong safety culture during all welding tasks.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve production goals.
- Maintain the working area and ensure all tools and materials are used properly.
- Complete data sheets and documentation accurately before the end of each shift.
- Adapt to various working shifts, including morning, afternoon, and night.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience with MIG welding.
- Proven technical proficiency in MIG/MAG welding; TIG experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Familiarity with welding gases, electrodes, and cylinders.
- Experience working with mild steel and stainless steel is advantageous.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and nights.
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
Skills
