Responsibilities
As a Utility Cleaner, you will play a key role in supporting essential hotel functions across multiple departments. Your responsibilities include:
- Cleaning and preparing dishes, utensils, and linens for guest use
- Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment such as dishwashers, washing stations, industrial washers, and dryers
- Transporting dishes, utensils, and linens throughout hotel facilities
- Supporting kitchen, restaurant, and laundry operations as required
- Maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of work areas
- Following company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards
- Reporting accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to supervisors
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues to achieve operational goals
- Performing additional reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
Requirements
Candidates for this role should meet the following requirements:
- No high school diploma or GED required
- No prior work experience required (entry-level candidates welcome)
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items up to 23 kg (50 lbs) without assistance
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods
- Capability to bend, reach, twist, and perform physical tasks as required
- Willingness to follow safety, hygiene, and operational procedures
