Responsibilities
The Room Attendant ensures guestrooms meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of all assigned guestrooms daily
- Inspect fresh linens for cleanliness and quality
- Perform efficient turndown service according to established standards
- Arrange guest clothing neatly, folding or hanging as appropriate
- Set up turndown trays with water and other amenities
- Ensure electronic devices (television, stereo, telephones) are working correctly
- Replace guest amenities when needed
- Vacuum carpets, furniture, and baseboards; empty waste baskets
- Report missing, damaged, or substandard furniture, fixtures, or equipment
- Prioritize workload according to guest requests and department standards
- Organize supply closets and work areas to maintain operational efficiency
- Adhere to Do Not Disturb policies and all MOHG guiding principles
Requirements
Candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- Good knowledge of Italian and English
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Physical ability to push and pull housekeeping carts
- Pleasant, outgoing personality with strong guest service orientation
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying schedules
