Responsibilities

The Room Attendant ensures guestrooms meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of all assigned guestrooms daily
  • Inspect fresh linens for cleanliness and quality
  • Perform efficient turndown service according to established standards
  • Arrange guest clothing neatly, folding or hanging as appropriate
  • Set up turndown trays with water and other amenities
  • Ensure electronic devices (television, stereo, telephones) are working correctly
  • Replace guest amenities when needed
  • Vacuum carpets, furniture, and baseboards; empty waste baskets
  • Report missing, damaged, or substandard furniture, fixtures, or equipment
  • Prioritize workload according to guest requests and department standards
  • Organize supply closets and work areas to maintain operational efficiency
  • Adhere to Do Not Disturb policies and all MOHG guiding principles

Requirements

Candidates should meet the following qualifications:

  • Good knowledge of Italian and English
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Physical ability to push and pull housekeeping carts
  • Pleasant, outgoing personality with strong guest service orientation
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying schedules

  • Attention to detail in cleaning and room presentation
  • Time management and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Strong communication skills with guests and team members
  • Organizational skills for maintaining supply closets and work areas
