Responsibilities
As a Process Project Engineer, your key responsibilities include:
- Providing process engineering for water and wastewater treatment systems in industrial plants such as oil refining, petrochemicals, power, and hydrogen facilities
- Designing water/wastewater treatment systems and developing P&IDs (Process and Instrumentation Diagrams)
- Preparing engineering documents and system designs based on customer specifications
- Collaborating with the design team to produce drawings and documents for customer approval and manufacturing
- Communicating technical details with clients, suppliers, manufacturers, and sales teams
- Managing engineering deliverables, schedules, and cost optimization within project timelines
- Supporting commissioning, start-up, and performance testing at project sites
- Participating in new product and technology development projects as required
Requirements
Candidates for this role should meet the following requirements:
- 10–15 years of experience as a project engineer or manager in water or wastewater treatment projects
- Experience in project scope, schedule, budget, and risk management
- Ability to read and interpret P&ID, GA, manufacturing drawings, and electrical/instrumentation diagrams
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D)
- Effective business-level English communication skills (oral and written)
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
Preferred Requirements
- Experience with global projects or international collaboration
- Familiarity with project management software (MS Project, Primavera)
- Experience with ERP/project management systems (Epicor, D365, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with commissioning, start-up, and performance testing
