Responsibilities
As a Delivery Driver, your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering and filling LPG gas cylinders to homes and businesses in the region
- Interacting with customers, answering questions, and providing excellent service
- Handling dangerous goods safely and following strict Health and Safety procedures
- Using handheld computer delivery equipment to track and confirm deliveries
- Maintaining punctuality and reliability throughout delivery schedules
- Assisting with occasional Saturday deliveries as required
Requirements
Candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Valid Class 2 driving licence with at least two years of driving experience
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
- Physically fit to lift heavy items during deliveries
- Dangerous Goods licence and LPG filling experience (or willingness to undergo training)
- Flexible, adaptable, and customer-service focused
- Knowledge of the Christchurch region
- Ability to pass background checks, including Criminal & ACC history, medical, and Drug & Alcohol screening
