Responsibilities
- Perform ward clerk duties including answering phones, data entry, and providing administrative support.
- Maintain stock, stores, and supplies for the ward.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, staff, and visitors in person and over the phone.
- Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and documentation in line with privacy and confidentiality policies.
- Support the team in keeping the ward organized, efficient, and welcoming.
- Assist with scheduling, reporting, and administrative coordination within the Medical Unit.
- Ensure smooth communication between medical staff, patients, and other departments.
Requirements
- Experience in medical administration or hospital ward settings is highly regarded.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and computer systems.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Current unrestricted driver’s license valid in NSW and ability to travel for work purposes.
- Eligibility to work in Australia (Australian citizen, permanent resident, or New Zealand citizen).
