Responsibilities
- Perform welding activities using MIG, TIG, and ARC techniques.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
- Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and cleaning metal surfaces prior to welding.
- Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Operate welding equipment, power tools, and measuring instruments safely.
- Repair and maintain metal structures and equipment as required.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and proper use of PPE.
- Maintain welding tools and equipment in good working condition.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of welding experience in industrial, construction, or fabrication settings.
- Knowledge of different welding techniques and metal types.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and welding standards.
- Physical capability to work in demanding environments and various positions.
- Welding certification is an advantage.
