Responsibilities
Key responsibilities for the Machine Operator role include:
- Operating Multivac, slicer, and other production machinery safely and efficiently
- Assembling and disassembling machinery as required for operations or cleaning
- Maintaining strict quality and food safety standards
- Completing quality control documentation accurately
- Working at pace with strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Safely lifting and moving heavy items using correct manual handling techniques
Requirements
Candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Proven experience operating Multivac, slicer, or similar production machinery
- Understanding of machine operation and basic troubleshooting
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods
- Commitment to high product quality and safety standards
- Legally allowed to work in New Zealand
