Responsibilities
Key responsibilities for the Driver role include:
- Safely operating HR vehicles and a range of collection fleet equipment
- Collecting general waste, cardboard, and recyclables from clients under secure long-term contracts
- Transporting waste streams to designated disposal locations
- Providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Following all Veolia safety policies and procedures, including the AlwaysSafe culture
- Participating in on-the-job training to operate various collection vehicles
Requirements
- Valid HR licence required
- Experience driving HR vehicles is preferred
- Good geographical knowledge of the Perth region
- Safety-conscious mindset and adherence to company safety protocols
- Willingness to work Mon-Fri with early morning start times and on public holidays (with paid overtime)
- Ability to undergo pre-employment medical check, drug and alcohol screening, and National Police Clearance
