Responsibilities
The Painting Supervisor provides technical leadership and operational oversight within the fabrication yard, including:
- Providing expert guidance and technical support to fabrication yard operations in compliance with industry standards, codes, and project requirements.
- Overseeing discipline-specific activities, including procedures, equipment selection, consumables, and quality control measures.
- Developing and implementing programs and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity while maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Conducting regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with specifications and identify areas for improvement.
- Training and mentoring personnel to ensure proficiency in techniques, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Collaborating with engineering, project management, and multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.
- Coordinating with client representatives and external stakeholders to address technical queries and provide guidance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered.
- Extensive fabrication experience within the oil and gas industry, particularly involving offshore modules.
- Strong understanding of relevant industry standards and codes.
- Proven experience in successful project execution with a focus on safety, quality, and schedule compliance.
