It includes racing and racecourse entertainment, a membership club, responsible sports wagering and lottery, and charities and community contributions. Through this model, the Club creates economic and social value for the community and supports the HKSAR Government in combating illegal gambling.

The Division

The Security, Integrity and Information Security (“SIIS”) Division is responsible for preserving integrity by combating criminality and corruption risks that can threaten horse racing, betting, and membership at the Club. Maintaining a secure environment and integrity is key to our business. It is important to ensure that horse racing in Hong Kong is fair. It is also very important to the Club that there is governance and fair opportunity in all bet placements. The department consists of Integrity & Financial Crime Risk, Racing Security & Integrity Assurance, Corporate Security, and Information Security Risk & Assurance functions.

Job Summary

The Job

  • Risk Assessment
    • Conduct comprehensive security and safety risk assessments for the Club’s infrastructure and events.
    • Identify potential vulnerabilities and threats. Recommend effective mitigation measures.
    • Work with relevant stakeholders to implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Threat Monitoring and Analysis
    • Monitor and analyze upcoming social event threats that may affect the Club’s operations, staff, and customers.
    • Provide timely reports and insights on potential risks and their possible consequences.
  • Physical Security Policy & Operating Procedures
    • Compose, review, and update Security Standards, Standard Operating Procedures, checklists, action cards, templates, and other related documents.
  • Vendor Performance & Contract Management
    • Prepare vendor performance reports and conduct regular reviews to ensure the quality of services provided by contractors.
    • Work with stakeholders to start contract renewals and tender processes in line with procurement and finance requirements.
  • Incident Management Crisis Management (IMCM) Program
    • Support the management of the Club’s Incident Management Crisis Management (IMCM) program.
  • Security Awareness
    • Assist with planning and organizing security awareness promotional events and training programs.
    • Develop educational materials and resources to improve security awareness among staff.
  • Others
    • Perform other ad-hoc duties and projects assigned by Managers.

About You

  • A bachelor’s degree in any discipline or other tertiary education. Fresh graduates are welcome.
  • Candidates with an educational background in AI will have an advantage.
  • Strong analysis and reporting skills.
  • Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Cantonese.
  • Ability to handle complex information under time pressure.
  • High integrity when handling sensitive information.
  • Ability to work independently and also be a good team player.
