As the Assistant Security Manager at Kimpton Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong, you will support the Security Manager with daily operations. You will supervise security personnel and help ensure that all security procedures are followed. You and your team will help keep our luxury lifestyle hotel safe and secure for guests, associates, and the workplace 24/7.
A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but your main duties will include:
- Assisting the Security Manager in supervising and motivating the Security team to maintain hotel security and safety.
- Setting up security operating procedures and reviewing and improving them when needed.
- Planning and coordinating security measures for VIP visits and events.
- Working with the Security Manager on security and safety training for the Security team and hotel emergency response team members.
- Leading and managing the team in investigations and incident reporting.
What we need from you
- At least 6 years of work experience in a hotel security team, including at least 1 year in a managerial role.
- A Security Personnel Permit.
- A valid first aider and AED certificate.
- A higher diploma in security or safety management is preferred.
- A strong service mindset and good planning and organising skills.
- Good leadership, training, and coaching skills.
- The ability to handle multiple tasks and strong attention to detail.
- Good command of both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin), in speaking and writing.
