Specialist Classroom Music Teacher

The Australian International School Bangkok requires a full-time Music Teacher for classroom music lessons, choir, and performances. The teacher will work with three other full-time Music teachers.

Duties

• Teach music classes on AISB campuses where required.
• Prepare lesson plans with the Primary to Year 7 Music Teacher before each term.
• Submit lesson plans to the Head of Campus or delegate before each term starts.
• Provide student assessments and reports on time each term.
• Promote and deliver After School Activities for private and Choir classes each term and during Summer School.
• Help promote Choir, Singing, Piano, and Performing Arts programs at AISB.
• Help lead Junior, Senior Primary, and Secondary choirs.
• Assist with voice training for Secondary students.
• Work with the Performance Committee on school productions, performances, recitals, assemblies, and external events.
• Work with the Head of Primary and other Music and Performing Arts teachers to develop promotion campaigns during the school year.
• Help plan promotion campaigns for upcoming school years.
• Support marketing and promotion of school music, choir classes, and musical events through Facebook, the school website, and Instagram.
• Provide relevant lessons, video clips, and photos with captions to the Head of Primary.

Salary: At least ฿30,000 per month (full time)
