Responsibilities
As an Order Clerk in the Shipping department, your daily tasks will include:
- Accurately picking and preparing orders in a timely manner
- Rotating products in the cooler according to dates to maintain freshness
- Informing Production Managers about aging or old inventory
- Keeping return racks clean and empty
- Moving products between the production floor and cooler
- Processing returns and managing non-fulfillment (N/F) items
- Cleaning and organizing the cooler and disposing of garbage daily
- Assisting fellow order clerks and shippers when needed
- Accurately completing load sheets
- Tracking products loaded onto trailers and reporting to Production Managers
Requirements
To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, including sorting and restacking products
- Certification as a power jack operator
- Capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
- Basic computer skills for completing daily inventory reports
