Responsibilities
- Manage a designated section of the restaurant independently
- Take orders and serve customers accurately and professionally
- Ensure mise en place and table closing are completed to company standards
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the menu and wine list to provide recommendations and upselling
- Interact with guests to ensure excellent service and handle inquiries or complaints
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with supervisors
- Participate in daily briefings and contribute to team coordination
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in workstations and equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned related to the role
Requirements
- Diploma from a hospitality school or equivalent qualification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in luxury hotels or fine dining restaurants
- Strong proficiency in both Italian and English (written and spoken)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
